Privacy policy

We respect your privacy. We never sell your data. Below is the plain-English version of how we handle your information.
What we collect
- When you place an order: name, email, shipping address, billing address, phone (if provided), and payment details (handled directly by Shopify and PayPal — we never see card numbers).
- When you create an account: name, email, password (encrypted), and order history.
- When you browse: IP address, device type, pages viewed, and similar standard analytics. This is anonymized and aggregated.
- When you subscribe to our newsletter: just your email and the date you signed up.
What we do with it
- Process and ship your orders.
- Provide customer support.
- Send order updates (shipping, delivery, returns).
- Send marketing emails — only if you opted in. Unsubscribe with one click anytime.
- Improve the store (which products perform, where users get stuck, etc.).
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data to anyone.
- We don't share your email with third parties for marketing.
- We don't track you across other websites.
Who we share data with
Only with the partners required to fulfill your order:
- Shopify — our store platform and payment processor
- PayPal, Mercado Pago, Flow — payment processors (when you choose them)
- CJDropshipping, Spocket, DHL, USPS, and similar — fulfillment and shipping carriers
- Klaviyo — email delivery for transactional and marketing emails
- Google Analytics — aggregated, anonymized site analytics
Each of these has its own privacy policy and is bound by data-processing agreements with us.
Cookies
We use cookies for the cart, checkout, and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but the cart will stop working. We don't use advertising cookies by default.
Your rights
You can:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Delete your account and personal data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing emails (one click in any email footer)
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@innova.gift. We respond within 30 days, usually within 48 hours.
Data retention
We keep order and account data for as long as your account is active or as required by tax law (typically 6 years in Chile). Marketing data is deleted within 30 days of unsubscribing.
International transfers
We're based in Chile and use service providers in the US, EU, and Asia. Your data may be transferred to these regions. We use standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards required by GDPR and similar regulations.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the change. Material changes are also announced by email.
